Finally!

That is the word that entered my head as I successully set up my google account to begin blogging with Blogger. Now I wasn't originally planning on using Blogger but with all the trouble I just encoutered trying to set up an account with edublogs, I decided to give something else a try.

I must say, as I'm typing this I already feel more relaxed and less anxious about the whole blogging experience. It's not as if this is the first time, as I've used blogs in the classroom before. However personal blogging is a completely different experience. It's a little scary putting your thoughts and feelings out there.

With a little time and researching, I'm sure I can get used to this.

  1. Hi Ashleigh, this is a great looking blog. Good Web design, white text on a dark background reduces readability considerably. It is better to have black or dark text on a white or light coloured background. Something else to consider is colour. Did you know that at least 25% of the population (and this percentage may be higher) suffer from some form of colour-blindness. This includes red-blue and red-green colour-blindness which these people see as muddy brown. It is one of the criteria considered when checking a website for disability access. In view of this information, how do you think someone who suffers from colour blindness will see your site - something to consider in the future. Overall this is a great site and well done. BC
